What is Live Scan fingerprinting?
Live Scan captures your fingerprints digitally on a glass scanner instead of with ink, then sends them electronically to the agency that requested your background check. It is faster and more accurate than ink fingerprint cards.
What is a Level 2 background check?
In Florida, Level 2 background screening is a fingerprint-based check of state and national criminal records. It is often required for jobs in healthcare, childcare, schools and other positions of trust. Your employer or licensing agency will tell you if you need one.
What should I bring to my appointment?
